The opening ceremony featured the Fort Worth ISD Corps Honor Guard and a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by a 531st Air Force Band vocalist followed by a POW/MIA ceremony performed by members of the Harold L Gregory Memorial American Legion Post and Unit 626.
The POW/MIA Ceremony was narrated by Christine Willesen. Service branch representatives were Arthur McAvoy, Clint Willesen, Wayne Oliver, Jeff Anderson and Bruce Zielsdorf. The ceremony was performed by Harriet Wright (Rose), Rita Anderson (Lemon and Salt) and Donna Oliver (Bible).
Great food, inspiring ceremony, fascinating speakers and a good time had by all.
