Members of the Post and Auxiliary Unit 626 preparing flags at the post and at Mt. Olivet Cemetery for the annual posting of American Flags for the Memorial Day weekend.

Members of the Post and Auxiliary Unit 655 presented each of the veterans at Green Valley Rehabilitation with a poppy, a "In Flanders Field" bookmark and a laminated Flag with the "Pledge of Allegiance" printed on the back.

Then it was out to New Trinity Cemetery in Haltom City to catch up with all the boys and girls (Boy & Girl Scouts) who helped set out the flags. A great big THANK YOU to all of the dedicated parents who set the path to good citizenship. We presented all of our Scouts with "In Flanders Field" bookmarks and poppies.

Members and friends of the Post 379 Legion Family gave out poppies to inform the public about the reason for Memorial Day on Monday.

At the request of Chick-fil-A members of Haltom City Post 655 provided a POW/MIA table for a Memorial Day Display.

As Mary Johnson said "Now, that folks, is my idea of what a Memorial Day weekend looks like".

These are just a few pictures of folks properly preparing for Memorial Day.
