Holiday & Heroes is a local effort of community volunteers that provide holiday assistance to military families in need during the Christmas holidays. holidaysandheroes.org

From the organization: We are so grateful to have helped 133 military families this past weekend. Thank you to the community, families, and sponsors that made this all possible. Stay tuned for more pictures of our awesome weekend.
As always, cupcake decorating was a hit at our event, and we loved leaving everyone with a little something sweet. Thank you to our incredible volunteers from the American Legion Auxiliary Posts 297 & 626 for supervising the sprinkles!

A Military Family Christmas Party was held on Sunday, December 5th, at the Vintage Flying Museum hangar at Fort Worth Meacham Airport, to thank these families for their sacrifice and their service. Members of ALA Unit 626 were on hand to provide a cupcake decorating table for the children of these families. Decorating cupcakes is always a big hit for these kids. A big Thank You goes out to our volunteers.
